Full-Time Brewery Brewery Server

Twin City Brewing is looking for a full-time server to join our team that can start immediately! Our Lounge strives to consistently deliver an excellent and comfortable experience to a wide range of visitors. We focus on friendly, prompt, and accurate service while engaging with our guests about Port Alberni, Craft Beer, and our Kitchen Menu as well Our 44 seat Lounge and 16 seat Patio can be busy at times, so ideal candidates must be confident and work well in a bustling setting. We strongly advocate for teamwork and an open line of communication across the Lounge and Kitchen staff. Common tasks on any given day will include pouring beer, filling growlers, entering food and drink orders, handling cash, using our POS system, running food orders, tending to tables, clearing tables, and various other jobs to keep the Lounge looking sharp. Our FT Servers must commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week of a variety of shifts. This position reports directly to the Front-of-House Manager. Candidates must have Serving It Right and knowledge of BC Craft Beer is an asset. In addition, those applying should exhibit the following qualities; * passion for amazing customer experiences * attention to detail * welcoming attitude * strong communication skills * clean and organized work habit * punctual and reliable * ability to maintain calm under pressure * proactive cleaning habits * comfortable on her/his feet for long periods of time * capable of lifting 50 lb Foodsafe Certification and Certified Beer Server Training are considered strong assets for this role.
